We are always delighted to welcome new children to Nursery. To join us, please download and complete the application pack below, alternatively you can collect a pack from the reception desk at West Exe Nursery School or contact us to send one to you in the post or via email.

Funding

2-year-old Funding

Eligible 2-year-olds are entitled to 570 hours of funded childcare per year, from the term after their 2nd birthday. Please check the eligibility criteria and if you think you could be entitled please apply via the Devon Citizen Portal or by calling 0345 155 1013. If you have any questions regarding the 2-year-old funding please email 2info@devon.gov.uk


Early Years Funding (for 3-4-year-olds)

All children are entitled to 570 hours of funded childcare per year, from the term after their 3rd birthday, this is known as the Early Years Entitlement. There is no need to apply for this and no code is needed, just your child's birth certificate.


Extended Entitlement (for 3-4-year-olds)

Some families will be entitled to 1140 hours per year, known as the Extended Entitlement. To check if you are eligible please see the eligibility criteria and complete the Extended Entitlement application. If you are eligible you will be issued a code to provide us with. You will need to re-validate your claim every term

Your child can attend funded sessions only or you can pay for extra sessions if you wish, subject to availability. Please see our Sessions, Fees & Booking page for details of session times and prices.

At West Exe nursery, we value parental partnership and work together as a team to ensure each child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Before starting nursery, you will be asked to sign a home-school agreement outlining ways in which we are all committed to helping your child succeed.
