Nursery Places, Fees & Booking Information

We are a state-maintained Nursery School, providing quality early learning opportunities for children aged between two and four years old.

We can provide childcare for your children term time only or all year round. We also offer Breakfast Club and Afterschool Club.

Our Nursery School is based in a wonderful setting, with a third of an acre of beautiful gardens, including woodland, a vegetable garden, a fire pit and a cob pizza oven! Within this outstanding, challenging yet safe environment, your child can explore, create, imagine, be inspired, learn, develop, share and above all have lots and lots of fun!

Our team of dedicated, caring and experienced teachers, learning support assistants and play workers put a great deal of thought to planning, ensuring there are opportunities for both child led and teacher led activities, which are based around the children's individual and/or combined interests, abilities and needs. Our highly trained team recognise, and value children having multiple intelligence and different learning styles and can adapt their communication styles to suit all.

Our ethos of ‘cherishing children through empowering parents’ underpins our everyday practice. We recognise that as parents/carers you are the child’s first educator and welcome you to be a part of the Nursery School in different capacities. To help build good relationships all round and to reassure your child to feel safe and cared for, we assign a key person to each child.

Awarded an 'Outstanding' Ofsted grading for a second time.

We welcome children claiming 30 hours entitlement and 2-year-old funding, or, parents can purchase sessions.

“Outstanding quality of education…in an exceptionally nurturing school…every child thrives in this sanctuary of learning.”

Illness

Please ring Nursery if your child is unwell and will not be attending. If your child has been sick or has had diarrhoea they will need to be kept off nursery for at least 48 hours since the last episode. If your child has a temperature they need to be kept off Nursery for at least 24 hours once the temperature has subsided. This advice is given to us from the Health Protection Agency.

Collecting Your Child

If anyone different from who drops off in the morning comes to collect your child, please let the nursery staff know. Otherwise we will only release your child to persons named in your application form, unless different arrangements have been made and a password is in place.

Holidays During Term Time

Holidays during term time will be authorised, however fees must still be paid.
